Who can use Crowda
You need to be 13 or over. Some venues are restricted to people 18 and over, and Crowda will not show those feeds to anyone younger.
By using Crowda you confirm the age you gave us is true.
Your account
One account per person. Don't impersonate anyone, don't share your account, and don't create a new one to get around a restriction on an old one.
Your content stays yours
Everything you post belongs to you. We don't claim ownership of it and we don't sell it.
What you do give us is permission to host and show it inside Crowda, to the people it was meant for, for as long as you leave it up. That permission is what lets the app display your post to the room at all. It ends when you delete the post or your account, except where we have to keep something to deal with a report.
What isn't allowed
- Anything sexual involving a minor. This is reported to the authorities, not just removed.
- Harassment, threats, or targeting someone.
- Hate directed at people for who they are.
- Sexual content, graphic violence, or content that glorifies self-harm.
- Posting someone's personal information, or photographing someone who has asked you not to.
- Pretending to be at a place you are not.
- Gaming the ranks, including with extra accounts or automation.
- Anything illegal where you are.
What we can do
We can remove content, limit what an account can do, or end an account entirely, where we believe these rules have been broken.
We will not always explain the detail of why. Some of how Crowda detects abuse only works while the people doing it don't know how it works, so a full explanation would make the system easier to defeat and the app worse for everyone else.
Every post and reply can be reported, and you can block anyone instantly from the same menu.
Points, ranks and prizes
Points and ranks are a game. They are not money, they have no cash value, they cannot be bought, sold or transferred, and we can adjust or reset them, including where we believe they were earned dishonestly.
If we ever offer a prize, it will come with its own rules about who is eligible and how it is awarded, and those rules will apply to it.
Ending it
You can delete your account from inside the app, under Me. It removes your personal details and signs you out permanently.
We can end your access if you break these rules.
The legal part
Crowda is provided as it is. We work to keep it running and safe, but we can't promise it will always be available, or that everything posted by other people will be accurate or pleasant.
We are not responsible for what other users post, or for what happens between people who meet through the app. Use the same judgement you would anywhere else.
We may change these terms. If we change something that matters, we will say so in the app.
